So, before reading her novels which were released from 1811 to 1817, in the following order :  Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma,  Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, I decided to go back to her teenage years, reading Love and Friendships, and other early works.

Movie - Loophole

Movie - Loophole
Score : 1/10
Year : 1981
Director : John Quested
Country : UK
Language : English
Duration : 1h45

What a snoozfest ! it starts boring, gets slightly better, remains dull almost throughout the movie, and ends in the most disappointing ''twist'' which leaves you to the conclusion you'd wasted 1h38 to get here... after very lengthy sequences of men drilling in walls, or walking in London’s sewers and having poorly written ''man bonding'' scenes which are... boring.

the only good points in this movie is Lalo Shifrin's score, very distinctly Lalo I have to say - well, most of it anyway.

I didn't care what would happen to the characters, I merely watched the movie through (and fast forwarded several times) because I was sick and wanted to finish the movie to be able to better write about it, and free some space on my shelves...

byebye to Loophole!
