Enemy Mine... in the media

Out of all editions, I'd had originally bought the French one.
The movie is in original English, and dubbed both in French and Italian ; the sound is dolby digital 4.0 and subtitles are in French, English, Italian, Dutch and Greek.

The dvd menu can be viewed in French, English and Italian.

The image format is 16/9 2.35, compatible with 4/3 tv's.
Bonus material : slim, only a trailer, production photos and a deleted scene.

---

In October 2012,  Twilight Time released a limited edition series, in only 3000 copies, worldwide  (EAN is 851789003313).

Its list price was 35 US$, but as it sold out very quickly, it can now be found only second hand, used or new, for 60+, too much for my purse.

The movie sound is in 4.0 DTS-HD MA and proposes English SDH subtitles, and special features :
Original theatrical trailer
Isolated score track (the only BD edition to offer it, but there are CD editions for this soundtrack, too).

----

For a long time, this was the only way to view it in full 1080p HD - I read on forums that the transfer is gorgeous and retains its 2.35 ratio. But, in May and June 2016, 2 companies followed suit, offering more affordable editions, with slight different contents.

Australian company Umbrella Entertainment released EAN 9344256013621.

Sound is in 4.0 DTS-HD MA & English SDH subtitles, just like the previous edition, but bonus features are different :

Original theatrical trailer
Exclusive stills gallery and essay by Fangoria writer Lee Gambin.

This edition is region B and also respects the original image format and color.

----

I chose UK's Eureka edition instead. Its EAN is 5060000702163.

Sound now have either 2.0 stereo LPCM, or even 5.0, which as far as I can tell, is the only edition to offer that high.
Like the previous editions, it has English SDH subtitles.

Features :
Original theatrical trailer (nothing new here)
Deleted scene
20 page collector booklet with a new essay by Craig Ian Mann, and behind the scenes imagery

The sleeve is double sided with alternate artwork.

Although the cover and technical details didn't mention it, there is an isolated score on this BD, which is a great surprise to see, in the end! It appears in the sound setup, where you choose between 2.0 & 5.0 sound, you can activate that instead!

This edition is region B (locked)

France was late to the party, where Movinside released EAN 3512392113543 only in November 2017, seen bellow, under the title... Enemy. (not mine, just Enemy) and which isn't an interesting edition at all...

... Indeed, sound has been downgraded to 2.0 DTS-HD MA, both in French dub and the original English. Subtitled only in French.

Bonus
Exclusive presentation (I assume in French)
Deleted scene
Trailer
