In 29 genres, 57 composers and only 6 female composers, Métamorphoses explores poems from the 12th century to the present day, alternating between new and tradition.

As you have seen, this compendium favors men - they fill 90% of the total number!

In addition, the quality of the poems is really uneven, certain compositions made me cringe, either because of the content or the aesthetic in total clash with my tastes.

In reality, this book is a disappointment, despite some superb poems, even rare gems. What a pity!
